What We Do
Going Uptown Entertainment organizes nationwide talent competitions that are streamed, allowing audiences from all corners to participate actively in the discovery process. Our platform is uniquely designed to engage viewers and give them a voice in choosing and supporting the next big sensation.
Going Uptown Entertainment is an online production geared toward bringing back the chance for the masses to display raw talent in any genre outside of the realm of traditional and overloaded social media platforms. This is a formal production, not an unorganized field for random posts. – creating a new trend in talent show production with a unique vision for today’s audience. Our goal is to acquire and envelop an audience composition reflective of our society. All inclusive, all interesting, all exciting and dynamic, all the time!
Our Mission
Our goal is to be one of a small but elite group of previous productions that are non-exclusive regarding content. Many of which found themselves isolated by targeting one specific demographic via cultural, economic, education and other distinctions that create market exclusivity. By contrast, Going Uptown Entertainment wants to place a bullseye on the entire market through focus on diverse content spanning genres with which all can identify, appreciate, and enjoy.
It would be less than forthright to deny that content is normally steered culturally in some shape or form. The production of any successful product requires ‘drawing from the well’ of knowledge and life experiences with which we are familiar. Going Uptown Entertainment will comprise several contributors from all backgrounds. Several productions and correlating companies (to be mentioned on later slides) established a direct path to success. Our goal is to subscribe to a similar model wherein content is well-balanced without dilution of material substance. Simply put, regardless of content, our branding will remain consistent with themes and models that attract all mainstream viewers in order to avoid being ‘labeled’.
